During a summer vacation in New England we decided to stop at Mystic Seaport in Mystic, Connecticut. It was an overcast day and I was a bit disappointed with my photos of the ships. So we decided to visit some of the buildings on the grounds of the museum instead.
I was fascinated how the light coming in through the Print Shop windows caught the edge of the typeset. I used an F1.4 prime lens to capture the most light possible. The wide aperture also created a very shallow depth of field which I believe adds interest to the photo.
